Overview

The Knowledge report shows all topics and articles and provides information on enrolment and completion results. This report allows you to display your data by different status', categories, skills and creators/library filters.

By default, the report shows details of all active knowledge, however, you can filter the report by:

  • Knowledge Status (Active, Draft, Active and Draft or Archived)

  • Categories (any categories that exist in your portal)

  • Skills (any skills that exist in your portal)

  • Creators (all Creators, specific creators or Library - Compliance and Library - Capability items)

After creating a filter, you can save it as a favourite search using the 'Save Search' button. Favourite searches are available when you click the star button (next to the 'Save Search' button).

To clear all applied filters, click the 'Reset' button.

Report downloads

You can download your report as a CSV file using the download button.

When you download reports, CSV files are generated in the background. Once ready, they can be accessed (and downloaded to your computer) from the Downloads area of Analytics.

Your downloaded Knowledge report will be available to you for 30 days following their download, and are not visible to other users.

For auditing purposes, all downloads are recorded in the Timelines report.

If you use Safari as your browser - By default, Safari renders .csv files onscreen instead of automatically saving them for you to view in Excel etc. Your options are to 1) change your browser E.g. to Chrome or 2) manually download the file by right-clicking on the 'Download' link and saving the .csv file to your device.

Example

The ABCDE Training company wants to see archived knowledge for a specific category and skill by all creators.

ABCDE Training uses the Knowledge report, filtering on the Knowledge status to be 'Only Archived', applying the required category filter and skill filter but leaving the creator option set to 'All Creators'.
