How can I filter my reports, save favourite filters and download a copy?

All reports and key pages across the platform come with options to filter results, save your preferred filters, and download a copy of your data.

Applying filters

Reports, and pages such as the People page, include a range of filters that help you focus on specific people, roles, types, and other criteria. You can apply one filter or combine several at once before running the search.

After selecting your filters, click the Apply filters button to activate them and update the report results.

  • Tip: Filters are not applied automatically as you select them - this means you can set multiple filters at once before the report updates, making it faster to narrow down your results.

  • Note: The Apply filters button is not present on some reports and results will update automatically as you select filters.

To clear all currently applied filters, click the Reset button.

Saving favourite filters

If you often use the same combination of filters for a particular report, you can save time by marking them as favourites. You can store multiple favourite filter sets.

After applying one or more filters to your report, save them as a favourite search by clicking the Save search (bookmark) button. You will be asked to name the search which allows you to quickly find and apply the same filters again in the future.

Your favourite searches can be found by selecting the star icon next to the save search button.

To clear all currently applied filters in your report, click the reset button.

Notes:

  • All saved report searches can be viewed in one location on the Analytics page. You can also pin up to eight saved searches (allowing the report to be opened with its saved filters already applied) and use your saved filter to schedule reports.

  • Saved searches are not shared between admins. Each admin can only see the searches/filters they save themselves.

Downloading reports

Downloading a report lets you easily share or print it, while also keeping a snapshot of how it looked when you ran it.

You can download your report as a CSV file by clicking the download button at the top of the page. The downloaded file reflects any filters you applied when generating the report and captures the results as they appeared when the report was run.

How downloads work

CSV files are generated in the background. Once they are ready, they can be accessed and downloaded from Analytics β†’ Downloads.

Downloaded reports remain available for 30 days. Downloads are private, and other users cannot see your downloaded reports.

For auditing purposes, all downloads are recorded in the Timelines report.
