Overview

The Points or Minutes Attained report shows details of the total points or time accrued by learners across topics, pathways and external knowledge when Categories have been set up to record time or points.

This report allows you to track accumulated points or time without those points or time being associated with a goal.

Note: This report is only visible if categories have been set up within your portal to track points or time.

Filtering your report

By default, the report shows details of all current enrolments, however, you can filter the report by:

  • People: default and custom fields

  • Roles: any roles that exist in your portal

  • Completed dates: selected periods of time or custom dates

Important: The column headings in the image displayed above are examples only. These column headings will reflect any categories you've set up in your portal for points or time tracking.

Follow our guide to learn how to save your favourite filters and download reports.

Example

The BigBusiness company have just been awarded a project that requires a project manager who is certified in 'Microsoft Projects' and 'Agile Methodology'.

The company has several project managers but not all are experienced in the core competencies identified. The team manager wants to compare the points each has accrued in relation to these areas to assist in selecting the most appropriate person to lead the project.

The team manager uses the Points or Minutes Attained report to filter people to see all of their project managers (using the People filter and their 'Job Title' custom field to select 'Project Manager').

The report displays the points each project manager has accumulated for Microsoft Projects and Agile Methodology. They can see who has and hasn't accumulated points and who has the most which helps narrow down the options significantly.
