This article steps you through how to favourite a report filter and download your report. These steps are the same for all reports found in Analytics.

Saving favourite filters

Reports include a range of filters that help you focus on specific people, roles, types, and other criteria. If you often use the same combination of filters, you can save time by marking them as favourites. You can store multiple favourite filter sets.

After applying one or more filters to your report, you can save them as a favourite search by clicking the save search (bookmark) button. You will be asked to name the search - this allows you to quickly find and apply the same filter again in the future.

Your favourite searches can be found by selecting the star icon next to the save search button.

To clear all currently applied filters in your report, click the reset button.

Downloading reports

Downloading a report lets you easily share or print it, while also keeping a snapshot of how it looked when you ran it.

You can download your report as a CSV file by clicking the download button at the top of the page. The downloaded file reflects any filters you applied when generating the report and captures the results as they appeared when the report was run.

How downloads work

CSV files are generated in the background. Once they are ready, they can be accessed and downloaded from Analytics β†’ Downloads.

Availability and visibility

Downloaded reports remain available for 30 days. Downloads are private, and other users cannot see your downloaded reports.

Auditing

For auditing purposes, all downloads are recorded in the Timelines report.
