Each topic in your portal features a dedicated Analytics tab, providing a convenient summary of activity and key metrics.

To review analytic data for a specific topic:

  1. Navigate to Account → Admin → Knowledge.

  2. Select Topics from the sub-tabs and locate the topic you want to view.

  3. Click the topic’s name to open it.

  4. Switch to the Analytics tab to see a snapshot of the topic’s activity.

By default, the snapshot shows data for Current Status, All Dates, and All People, but you can refine this view using the following filters:

  • Status: Current, Lapsed, or All

  • Dates: All Dates, Last 6 Months, Last 12 Months, or a specific date range

  • People: All People, or filter by standard default fields and any custom fields to focus on specific users

You can also use the bookmark icon to save a filter search and the star icon to apply previously saved searches.

Report downloads

You can download your report as a CSV file using the download button.

When you download reports, CSV files are generated in the background. Once ready, they can be accessed (and downloaded to your computer) from the Downloads area of Analytics.

Your downloaded Topic Analytics report will be available to you for 30 days following their download, and are not visible to other users.

For auditing purposes, all downloads are recorded in the Timelines report.
