A key integration for many learning platforms is that of 'data sync': data is shared from another platform and sent to Tribal Habits. One of the most popular uses of these data integrations is to create and sync users HR or Payroll platform, for example.

This type of data integration has two major benefits.

  1. Effort. Your admins no longer have to upload or create new users. Users will be automatically created in Tribal Habits from your HR or Payroll platform.

  2. Consistency. As your user details change in HR or Payroll platform – say, a new location or job title – then your users in Tribal Habits will also be updated.

A ‘managed’ integration is an integration managed by us, between Tribal Habits and one of our approved cloud-platforms. Tribal Habits has a dedicated integration platform that ‘manages’ these integrations. This allows us to customise or alter your integration to suit your specific needs (e.g. exact data synced, field mapping, error messaging, frequency of updates and more).

THIS FEATURE REQUIRES AN ACTIVE 50 PLAN OR LARGER

Please note that HR and payroll integrations are only available on Active 50 or larger plans. They are not available on smaller plans (such as Starter) or legacy plans (older monthly plans). What platforms are available for managed integrations?

Tribal Habits offers a range of managed integrations with many popular HRIS, Employee Engagement, Payroll, CRM and cloud-storage platforms. These managed integrations are ready-made, tested and easy to set up. We are constantly adding new platforms, so please check the Admin/Account/Integrations page in your Tribal Habits portal for the latest list of available platforms or reach our to our Support team.

What if our platform isn’t listed as a managed integration?

In addition, depending on the capabilities of your SSO or HR platform, we may be able to create a custom integration for your organisation.

How easy is it to implement a managed integration and what does it cost?

Managed integrations are easy to set up since the integration process is managed by Tribal Habits! Your IT team typically only needs to provide limited information (usually just URLs and access keys to your platform). Integrations are typically set up within a few weeks (including testing).

Managed integrations are an additional costed service that is not included in any plan. We will need to discuss the specifics of your required integration, but the costs are usually very low.
