Tribal Habits offers a wide range of integration options including:
SAML 2.0 Single-Sign-On (SSO)
OAuth2 logins
Managed integrations (via API or Webhooks)
Zapier integrations
Sometimes, however, you may need an integration with a platform that doesn't appear to be covered by the options above. That's ok! We may still be able to help via our custom integrations.
What is a custom integration?
Our integration platform has ready-made integrations for many of popular SSO and HR platforms. However, it is also capable of integrating with a wider range of platforms โ SSO, HR, CRMs, Data, Events, Student Management and more.
This means our teams can create a custom integration for these platforms, as well as for many other platforms which allow external integrations.
What other platforms can we integrate with?
Typically there are two requirements to consider for a custom integration with Tribal Habits.
First, is the other platform a cloud-based platform with a REST-based public API? If so, then we are likely to be able to create a custom integration with them without any input from the other platform.
If the other platform does not have a REST-based public API (it may have no public API or a SOAP-based API), then an integration is unlikely.
If the other platform is not fully cloud native, but is on-premises or individually deployed, then an integration is unlikely.
Second, can the other platform and Tribal Habits actually share meaningful data and actions? Integrations cannot share all data between platforms. Each platform will have a limited set of data or actions which can be controlled through an integration.
If there is a platform you would like to integrate with Tribal Habits, please discuss it with your solutions consultant or our support team, and we can investigate what might be possible.
How easy is it to implement a custom integration and what does it cost?
Custom integrations do require some planning and development work by our team. The amount of work varies between integrations but will likely be several weeks plus additional testing.
Custom integrations involve a set-up fee for our team to build the integration for you. There will then be a small ongoing cost to manage the integration.
