Generative AI. We are now working on the next AI feature - Sage AI Transform - which allows creators to new elements from existing content (e.g. creating quizzes from your narrations or creating flipcards from your existing training manuals).

Adding a 'one page mode' to topics. This is the first change in the deprecation of articles. We will instead allow creators to switch a topic to 'one page mode' (which is the equivalent of an article and vice versa). As a result, all articles will become topics (with or without 'one page mode'). This will streamline reporting in Admin and reduce confusion between topics and articles.

Updating Interact, Narration and Hotspot elements with improved UI for creators and support for up to 20 items per element (instead of 10).

Continuing Education. Admins will be able to set CE goals for users and track completion to those goals per CE reporting period. Plus some new Analytics reports about Continuing Education.

The ability to customise email notification text.

Bulk download of files / certificates. We are investigating ways for admins to do a bulk download of uploaded files or certificates of completion (e.g. into a zip file).

Substantial revisions to the Learner Homepage - updated UI, new Dashboard view, new Calendar view, improved Profile and Team pages, reporting for Team leaders and more. This substantial upgrade will start in December and run through to February.

Article merge into Topics. We will be merging articles into topics by February 2025. This means that 'articles' will no longer exist as a separate type of knowledge but will instead become 'topics'. Topics will have a 'one page mode' to replicate the article UI for learners. No changes are required by any organisation and no data or content will be lost - articles will simply become topics with 'one page mode' activated. For admins, however, this will greatly simplify reporting and enrolments. More information on this change will be sent to all organisations as we approach this deprecation.

Activities removal. We will be deprecating the Activities feature within topics by April 2025. As we have developed more elements for creators over the last few years, the existing Activities function within topics is now less powerful and flexible than having creators use existing elements to create the same experience. To simplify the creation process, we will therefore deprecate the Activities option within topics. Existing topics using Activities will not be impacted - they will continue to work. However, no new Activities will be able to be created. All library content will be updated to remove Activities (and replace with similar content within the parts of the topic). To assist with this, we will also increase the number of parts allowed within a topic to 20 at the same time.

Old Events Element removal. The Old Events Element was replaced by the New Events Element in July 2024. At that time, no more old events could be created but existing old events could still be used. We will be entirely removing the Old Events Element in January 2025. Admins should ensure they have downloaded all historical data from Old Events and removed them from their topics as necessary.

Feature - New Slideshow element is available! We have a new element for creators to kick off 2025 - slideshow. This element allows creators to add up to 20 images into a scrolling slideshow, including captions. Learn more in this article!

Tweak - We have updated our Zapier application so that the trigger for an updated person is now also triggered if the person is deactivated (or reactivated) or becomes an admin (or is no longer an admin).

Tweak - We have restricted the Overview image in topics to be JPG or PNG to help with some compatibility requirements with certificates of completion and topics which are showing the overview image on the certificate. Note that PNG images must be non-interlaced PNGs (which are the majority of PNGs, but some older image editors may also create interlaced PNGs, which are not compatible with the PDF format of our certificates of completion and can result in errors).

Fix - Seems like we had a little error with Activities (reminder - they are being deprecated in the next few months). That's fixed!

Tweak - Admins can now filter All People by Language. The Admin/People table now displays languages for each user and the CSV download for users includes their language. The Public API can now also set languages for users.

Tweak - The Analytics reports for Completed Dates and Certified Dates now only display Enrolled People in the table when that option is selected (to see all people, select the All People option).

Tweak - We've added tool tips to various options in Creator mode to help out new Creators.

Tweak - Certificates of Completion now once again show the Overview image from a topic if that topic has that option enabled. NOTE: Overview images should be small (both in pixels and size) to fit onto the Certificate template. Also, Overview images must be JPG or non-interlaced PNG format.

Tweak - The Analytics/Downloads table is finally fixed so that if you have a really complex and long filter, you can now still see the Download column on the table without having to Zoom out! At last!

Fix - The Scenario element wasn't displaying correctly on some mobile devices - now it is!
