Overview

The Completion - Groups report provides a summary of completion results in all knowledge (topics, articles and pathways) allocated by any groups that exist within your portal.

This report allows you to display your data by percent or numbers and can be filtered to show data for specific groups, people, and training modules, as well as according to whether the training is completed or overdue.

Note: This report will only show and be available to use when Groups is enabled in your portal.

Filtering your report

By default, the report shows the percent complete for all knowledge, people and groups in your portal, however, you can filter the report by:

  • Knowledge (topics, articles and pathways)

  • People (default and custom fields)

  • Status (filter to show 'Completed' or 'Overdue')

  • Groups (specific groups within your portal)

  • Percent (filter by 'Percent' or 'Numbers')

Note: When viewing the data as a percentage, a blank field indicates no enrolments exist for the group in the applicable training.

After creating a filter, you can save it as a favourite search using the 'Save Search' button. Favourite searches are available when you click the star button (next to the 'Save Search' button).

To clear all applied filters, click the 'Reset' button.

Report downloads

You can download your report as a CSV file using the download button.

When you download reports, CSV files are generated in the background. Once ready, they can be accessed (and downloaded to your computer) from the Downloads area of Analytics.

Your downloaded Completion - Groups reports will be available to you for 30 days following their download, and are not visible to other users.

For auditing purposes, all downloads are recorded in the Timelines report.

Example

The BigBusiness company wants to see how many learners from a specific group have completed a certain training module.

They use the Completion - Groups report, filtering the report to show 'completed' data for the topic of interest and use the 'Groups' filter to select the relevant group. They then change the 'Percent' filtering option to 'Numbers'.

With this data, they follow up with the group's manager to provide a summary of the knowledge and completion data to date, requesting that this manager follow up with the team to encourage further completions.
