Overview
Topics and pathways can issue completion certificates. This is enabled by default for topics (but can be disabled) and disabled by default for pathways (but can be enabled).
Enabling or disabling certificates
You can show or hide certificates for topics or pathways. For example, you may wish to hide certificates on topics if learners are completing them as part of a pathway and you only want them to receive a certificate upon completion of all topics (the pathway) or not at all.
Select the topic or pathway at Admin β Knowledge β Topics/Pathways.
Navigate to the Settings tab.
Click Edit in the Certification panel and select 'Show' or 'Hide' accordingly, then click Save.
How can learners access their certificates?
Certificates are sent to learners via completion email notifications (which are enabled by default). When disabling certificates, you may wish to also disable completion email notifications (or you may keep the completion notification without the certificate). Learners can also access any certificates they've received via the Certificates panel of their Profile (on the learner homepage).
