What is the difference between the Assessment element and the Assessment module?

Learn the key differences between the two ways you can build assessments in your Tribal Habits topics.

Written by Matthew Mast

Both Assessment types build an assessment from the Quiz, Fill-in and Match activities in your topic, and both mark learners automatically, but they work differently.

We recommend the Assessment element for new topics.

It does everything the Assessment module does and more, including pre-assessments that let learners skip content they already know. The Assessment module is still fully supported and remains a good fit for a simple end-of-topic test in existing topics.
