What is the Goals Status report and when should I use it?

The Goals Status report allows you to easily confirm whether your users' goals are complete or still in progress.

Overview

The Goals Status report displays a table containing all of your organisation’s Goals as columns, with each row representing a user and a status indicating whether their assigned goal is completed or still in progress.

Note: Statuses (Completed or In Progress) will only show for users assigned to a given goal. The absence of a status means the user isn't assigned to the goal.

Filtering your report

This report shows goal progress for all users in your portal. You can narrow the information shown by using the following filters:

  • People (default and custom fields)

  • Roles (filter by role if your organisation uses the Roles feature)

  • Groups (filter by group is your organisation uses the Groups feature)

  • Period (choose whether you want to analyse current or previous goal periods)

After applying a filter, you can save it as a favourite search using the 'Save' button. Favourite searches are available when you click the star button (next to the 'Save' button).

To clear all applied filters, click the 'Reset' button.

Downloading your report

You can download your report as a CSV file using the download button.

When you download reports, CSV files are generated in the background. Once ready, they can be accessed (and downloaded to your computer) from the Downloads area of Analytics.

Your downloaded Goals Status reports will be available to you for 30 days following their download and are not visible to other users.

For auditing purposes, all downloads are recorded in the Timelines report.

Example

The ABCE Training Company wants to know which of its employees did not complete their goals in the previous period.

They use the Goals Status report, using the Period filter to view goals statuses from the previous period, and collate a list of employees who did not complete their goals to follow up with.
