Prosper provides an integration to Tribal Habits directly via their own platform. Here's the process to set-up your Prosper to Tribal Habits integration. As this integration is maintained by Prosper, not Tribal Habits, please don't hesitate to contact Prosper Support with any queries.
Once connected, this integration will automatically create users in Tribal Habits from your users in Prosper, reducing admin effort and ensuring data consistency.
Separately, you can also activate a 'Login with Prosper' feature in your Tribal Habits portal to allow your users to access Tribal Habits with their Prosper login (avoiding the need for a separate password). See below for more information on this option.
NOTE: If your organisation utilises Tribal Habits, Prosper and foundU for a complete learning, engagement and HR solution, please contact the Tribal Habits team before enabling this integration. We can easily integrate all three platforms, but may utilise a slightly different process to the one outlined in this article.
Step 1 - Provide Prosper with your Tribal Habits URL
Prosper will need to link your Prosper account with your Tribal Habits portal. To do this, provide your Tribal Habits URL (*.tribalhabits.com) to your Prosper CSM (or to [email protected]).
Step 2 - Obtain your Prosper API key from Tribal Habits
You can view your Prosper API key in the Admin / Accounts / Integrations tab in your Tribal Habits portal. Click on the API Key link of the Prosper integration card to view your API Key.
If the API Key link is not present, please contact Tribal Habits support and we will update your portal with your key.
Step 3 - Add your API key to your Prosper account
Once you have provided Prosper with your organisation's Tribal Habits URL, a new menu item named "Tribal Habits" will appear in the left-hand side menu of Prosper which will be accessible to your allocated Prosper Admins.
Click on the Tribal Habits menu item, then enter your API Key (from Step 2) and click on the 'Initiate Integration' button.
Step 4 - Finalise your integration
After saving your API key, there are two options for the initial sync.
Use the 'Create Tribal Habits Users' button if you are a first time user. When you click this button, a Tribal Habits account will be created automatically for the Prosper member.
Alternatively, you can use the 'Map Tribal Habits Users' button. When you click this button, any user that exists in Tribal Habits and Prosper will be mapped.
NOTE: The Tribal Habits user email address MUST match the Prosper
member email address to successfully map a member.
Activating 'Login with Prosper EX' on your Tribal Habits portal
In addition to the above user sync, we can also activate an option to allow your Prosper users to log into Tribal Habits using their Prosper credentials. This allows your users to avoid a separate password for Tribal Habits and provides a seamless experience for users moving between the two platforms.
