Overview
The Observations report lists all learner contributions for the Observation element across your portal.
A contribution is created for each learner enrolled in a topic that contains an Observation element - one contribution per element. So, if a topic has multiple Observation elements, each one will appear as a separate contribution in this report.
By default, all learner contributions are listed, along with the following:
Title: The name of the topic the Observation contribution belongs to.
Person: The learner associated with the contribution.
Categories: Any categories assigned to the topic.
Label: The label given to the specific Observation element.
Learner Acceptance: Whether the learner has clicked the acceptance button in the topic to confirm they agree to the Observation. Only shown if applicable.
Overall Score: A numerical score indicating the learner's performance for the Observation. Only shown if applicable.
Overall Result: Whether the learner has passed, failed, or is still pending.
Date Finalised: The date the Observation was finalised with a pass or fail. Displays Pending if not yet finalised.
Last Attempt #: The number of attempts the learner made before completing the Observation.

FAQs
Why can't I see a contribution in the Observations report?
A contribution will only appear in this report once the observation has been started. This can be initiated by either the learner, if self-assessment is enabled, or the assessor, once they begin grading/scoring the contribution.
