What is the Goals Categories report and when should I use it?

The Goals Categories report summarises user progress toward goal completion, broken down across category and total targets.

Overview

The Goals Categories report summarises each user's progress towards their assigned goals. It displays progress on a per-goal basis, broken down by each goal’s category targets as well as the total target. The report also confirms the status of each goal, showing whether it is in progress or completed.

Filtering your report

This report shows goal progress information for all users in your portal. You can narrow the information shown by using the following filters:

  • Goal: select which goal you want to display in the report

  • People: default and custom fields

  • Roles: filter by role if your organisation uses the Roles feature

  • Groups: filter by group if your organisation uses the Groups feature

  • Period: choose whether you want to analyse current or previous goal periods

Example


Each year the ABCE Law Co must ensure that its solicitors complete a total of 10 CPD points, with a minimum of one point from each category. They run this report for the previous period and make a list of anyone missing a point from any of the categories.

Locating the Goals Categories report

Navigate to Admin → Analytics and click the Goals Categories report tile under the Goals report category.
