The Profile element allows creators to capture profile data from learners when completing a topic.

There are a couple of steps a Super admin must complete before this feature can be used by creators in topics.

1. Enable the Profile element feature and specify default fields.

By default, the Profile element is disabled. Go to Admin β†’ Account β†’ Subscription, check the boxes for the default fields you want creators to use (First Name, Last Name, Email), then toggle the 'Creator: Profile Element' feature on.

2. Enable custom fields for use with the Profile element.

For custom fields to appear in the Profile element, they must have Creator visibility enabled. Go to Admin β†’ Account β†’ Fields and ensure the pen icon is ticked for any custom field you want creators to be able to ask learners to populate when completing a topic.

When enabled, creators will have access to this element when creating topics. Click here to learn more about how to use this element in a topic.
