Overview
Each completion certificate in Tribal Habits comes with a unique Certificate ID. The Certificate Finder report allows you to verify the authenticity of completion certificates. By entering a certificate ID, the report returns whether that certificate exists, along with its key details and a direct link to the certificate itself.
Note: This is particularly useful when a learner claims to hold a certificate: you can take the certificate ID and quickly confirm whether it is valid in your portal.
Running the report
Enter the certificate ID into the search bar exactly as it appears on the certificate (including numbers, hyphens and alphabetic characters).
Click the Find certificate button.
If a result is returned, the following details will be shown:
βPerson: The name and email of the user associated with the certificate.
Title: The title of the topic or pathway the certificate is for.
Certificate ID: The Certificate ID for the completion certificate.
Progress: The progress status for the enrolment.
Completed Date: The date the topic or pathway was completed.
Certified Date: The date the certificate is valid until.
View Certificate: A link to a PDF copy of the completion certificate.
Locating the Certificate Finder report
Navigate to Admin β Analytics and click the Certificate Finder report tile under the Results report category.

Example
A learner at Acme Corp claims they have already completed a topic. An admin requests the certificate ID and uses the Certificate Finder report to confirm whether it is connected to a valid certificate in the portal.
FAQs
I know a learner completed a piece of knowledge, but their certificate ID returns no results. Why could this be?
This will be the case if the enrolment has been deleted - this can be the case if the topic/pathway was deleted, an admin has unenrolled the learner, or the learner's profile was deleted.
