Sage AI Summary is part of our set of artificial intelligence features. Sage AI Summary creates an introduction to a point in your topic which summarises what the learner can expect to explore and learn in that point.

Creators can use Sage AI Summary to automatically summarise the content in a single point (part, fact, rule, idea, step) in your topic and pre-fill the Summary field for that point.

The Summary field is used to introduce learners to your point and explain what they are likely to explore or learn in that point. The Summary field is usually written once the point is complete with its content. Sage AI Summary accelerates this process by automatically creating this introduction text for your creators.

In any point in a topic, creators can click on the Sage AI icon under the Summary field to trigger the process.

Sage AI will review your content and generate a summary.

After the summary is generated, creators can cancel or accept it. If accepted, the generated summary will replace any existing summary for that point. Creators can then edit the summary as needed.

The quality of the generated summary is firstly dependent on the quality and amount of content in your point. If your point has limited content, it will be hard for the AI to create a useful summary.

The AI also cannot ingest certain content - it simply will not see that content. So if your point consists largely of the following content, the summary may be difficult to create. The AI cannot ingest:
